Burmese author and publisher Aung Way will discuss his life, his career in the world of literature, and his activism work for the Burmese community in an informal interview conducted in the Burmese language. The longtime political activist has published more than 38 books of poetry and essays and is best known for his poem “A Purple Wild Horse.” Aung came to the United States in 2008 and now resides in Lansing.
