Parents or caregivers will interact with their children through music and movement during Making Music with Rachel Behr. Rachel is certified in the Gordon Music Theory, which provides a way to teach young children music theory concepts through songs with and without words. Learning musical concepts through this style of music helps children when learning to read and learning about their world. Participants will use instruments that are musical as well as other items that help with movement in music. Children will be most engaged if the adult accompanying them participates and engages with them through the music.
