Helen Warner Branch
Joanne TenBrink Creative Space

Event Details

Celebrate the reopening of the Helen Warner Branch after it was closed during May for painting and installation of new carpeting. And, visit two new special spaces that offer exciting opportunities.

The Dean O. Barnum Amphitheater
The branch library’s amphitheater is dedicated in memory of Dean O. Barnum, a longtime Battle Creek supporter and philanthropist. New sunshades will be added to the amphitheater. Upon Mr. Barnum’s death in 2020, the Barnum-Willard Trust was funded with $1 million for the benefit of Willard Library. The amphitheater was named after Mr. Barnum because the natural setting reflects his interest in and love of nature.

Joanne TenBrink Creative Space
Calling all makers! The opening will highlight the new equipment capabilities, offer door prizes and include sample craft projects. Bring your questions, curiosity, and excitement as creative technology programs begin at the Helen Warner Branch.
